Amman, July 17 (Petra) — Jordan has extended heartfelt condolences to Iraq after a tragic fire swept through a shopping center in the eastern city of Kut, claiming numerous lives and leaving many injured.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs expressed deep sympathy to the Iraqi government and people. The Ministry’s spokesperson, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Iraq during this painful time, offering condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured a swift recovery.
