Amman, July 17 (Petra) — The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts (RACA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Barry Callebaut, represented in Jordan by the Kaylani Food Center, to enhance education and training in the culinary and hospitality sectors.
In a statement issued Thursday, the RACA described the partnership as a “key” step to advance vocational training and innovation in chocolate arts and manufacturing across the region.
The agreement aims to strengthen academic and practical training in the chocolate industry by combining the RACA’s global culinary education with the expertise of Barry Callebaut, a world leader in high-quality chocolate and cocoa products.
Under the MoU, the academy said its efforts seek to empower students and develop their academic and professional skills in chocolate-making within specialized workshops and hands-on training sessions under the supervision of company experts.
