Amman, July 20 (Petra) – The Higher Education Council, chaired by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Azmi Mahafzah, has approved a decision to raise the minimum admission threshold for bachelor’s degree programs in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, students will need a minimum score of 75 percent in the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or its equivalent to be eligible for enrollment in these disciplines.
