Amman, July 21 (Petra) – Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament, Ahmad Safadi, on Monday received Mohammed bin Hassan Mu’nis, Chargé d’Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Jordan, for talks on strengthening ties across various sectors.

Safadi underlined the importance of maintaining close communication and joint consultation to advance the interests of both countries and peoples. He highlighted the solid and longstanding relationship between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, calling for enhanced parliamentary coordination in support of mutual priorities, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

He also stressed the need to intensify all efforts to stop the war on Gaza and ensure the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid to the besieged Strip.

For his part, Mu’nis underlined the depth of ties between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, attributing them to the guidance of the leadership in both countries. He said the relationship reflects the strong bonds between the two peoples and stands as a model of constructive cooperation among Arab states.
