Amman, July 23 (Petra) – Minister of Youth Yazan Shdeifat on Wednesday discussed with the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam to Jordan, Noor Huda Ahmad, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the youth sector and develop joint institutional partnerships.

During the meeting, Shdeifat affirmed the “deep-rooted, brotherly” bilateral relations, which were established by His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Majesty Sultan of Brunei.

The minister stressed the importance of expanding cooperation horizons to meet youth aspirations and enhance opportunities for their empowerment in various fields.

Shdeifat also reviewed the Ministry of Youth’s key programs and initiatives, aimed at supporting and empowering Jordanian youth, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, and active community engagement.

The envoy, in turn, commended the ministry’s efforts in supporting the Kingdom’s youth sector, stressing her country’s “commitment” to continue joint coordination and expertise transfer, mainly in the youth sector, as a “fundamental pillar” in enhancing mutual cooperation.

According to a ministry statement, both sides called for enhancing exchange of youth delegations and organizing joint training programs, which would boost mutual understanding of the two countries’ youth and refining their capabilities to confront global challenges in a spirit of cooperation and openness.
