Amman, Aug. 4 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading volume of JD 13.4 million on Monday, with 8.6 million shares exchanged through 4,459 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 2,891 points, down by 0.45 percent.
Out of 105 companies traded, 27 saw gains in share prices, while 41 recorded losses.
By sector, the industrial index declined by 1.25 percent, the services index fell by 0.32 percent, and the financial index dropped by 0.22 percent.
