Gaza, 4 Aug (ONA) — Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 60,933, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on 7 October 2023.The same sources reported that the injuries have risen to 150,027 since the start of the aggression, while a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, ambulances and civil defense teams cannot reach them.
The sources indicated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 94 martyrs and 439 wounded in the past 24 hours, while the death toll and injuries since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, have reached 9,440 martyrs and 37,986 wounded.
They noted that the number of aid victims killed in the past 24 hours reached 29 Palestinians, with 300 injured, bringing the total number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals to 1,516, and the total number of injuries to 10,067.
