Amman, August 5 (Petra)-His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday received the National Centre for Human Rights’ (NCHR) annual report on the status of human rights in Jordan for the year 2024.
His Majesty received the report during a meeting with NCHR Chairperson Samar Al Haj Hassan, and NCHR Commissioner-General Jamal Shamaileh.
The meeting reviewed human rights’ developments in Jordan during the past year, and recommendations that aim to strengthen the system of freedoms and human rights.
Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh attended the meeting.
