Singapore, 6 Aug (ONA) —The dollar moved in a narrow range against other major currencies today, amid anticipation of the Federal Reserve’s upcoming decisions.
The dollar edged up 0.15% to 98.76, still some way off Friday’s high of 100.25, which it hit before the nonfarm payrolls report.
The dollar was little changed in recent trading, falling slightly by about 0.02% against the Japanese currency to 147.54 yen, while the euro rose slightly by 0.03% to $1.1578.
The British pound rose in the latest trading by 0.06% to reach $1.3306.
The Australian dollar rose 0.15% to $0.6479, while the New Zealand dollar gained 0.23% to $0.5914. — Ends/AH
