Amman, Aug 9 (Petra) – The Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Saturday announced updates to its website in preparation for the start of applications to public universities for the 2025-2026 summer intake.
The ministry’s media adviser and head of the unit, Mohannad Al-Khatib, said the website has been fully updated with all required information for both bachelor’s and intermediate diploma programs.
He said the unified admission system will offer 593 bachelor’s degree programs at nine public universities in addition to the World Islamic Sciences and Education University (WISE). The intermediate diploma level will include 175 programs at community colleges affiliated with Al-Balqa Applied University, Al al-Bayt University, Tafila Technical University, WISE, the Royal Jordanian Geographic Centre for Surveying and Geospatial Sciences, and the Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Academy of Civil Protection, along with 14 programs at the Nusaybah Al-Maziniyah and Rufaydah Al-Aslamiyah colleges.
Direct admission will apply to certain programs at the German Jordanian University, as well as the Faculty of Arts and the Aerospace Engineering program at the University of Jordan, and the Faculty of Arts at Yarmouk University, Al-Khatib added.
The unit urged all students who passed the 2025 summer session to visit its website ([www.admhec.gov.jo](http://www.admhec.gov.jo)) to review the minimum competitive admission averages over the past five years, the distribution of General Secondary Education Certificate Examination graduates by average category and stream, frequently asked questions, advice and guidance, as well as instructional videos on how to submit a unified admission application and pay the application fee through the “eFAWATEERcom” service. A video tutorial on navigating the website and using its resources is also available.
