Amman, August 10 (Petra) -His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a phone call on Sunday, offered condolences to Lebanon President Gen. Joseph Aoun over the death of several Lebanese army personnel killed during the dismantling of a weapons depot in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon.
His Majesty expressed deepest sympathies to the bereaved families on behalf of the people and government of Jordan, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The King also emphasised Jordan’s support for Lebanon’s efforts to maintain security and stability, as well as the readiness of its army.
