Amman, Aug 10 (Petra) – The Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on Sunday the opening of applications for Jordanian students diagnosed with cancer to benefit from seats reserved for them in the regular programs of Jordan’s public universities at the bachelor’s degree level only.
The unit invited interested students to visit its offices starting Tuesday, August 12, until the close of business on Thursday, August 21, to complete the application procedures and take advantage of these special seats.
The application requirements include holding the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or its equivalent with a minimum grade of 65 percent, submitting the original medical report diagnosing the student’s condition issued by the King Hussein Cancer Center, government hospitals, university hospitals, or Royal Medical Services, provided the report is no older than six months, and providing a copy of the civil ID.
Applicants must also fill out the unit’s approved benefit form and submit a unified electronic admission application (specifically for Tawjihi students) during the official application period via the unit’s website.
