Gaza Strip, Aug 11 (Petra) – Sixty-nine Palestinians were killed and 362 wounded in Israeli bombings and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Monday.
That took the death toll from Israel’s war which began on October 7, 2023, to 61,499 and the total number of injured people climbed to 153,575, it said in its latest update of casualties. It said many victims remained under the rubble of targeted buildings.
Among the casualties were 1,807 “bread martyrs”, and more than 13,021 injured people, who were shot at food aid distribution sites, said the ministry.
