Gaza, Aug. 13 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said on Wednesday that 123 Palestinians were killed and 437 injured in ongoing Israeli bombings and airstrikes in the past 24 hours.
It said many victims remained under rubble or on roads, with rescue teams unable to reach them.
The latest casualties brought the death toll since October 7, 2023, to 61,722 and 154,525 injured, said the ministry in its latest update.
Of the fatalities in the past day, 21 were killed and 185 injured while seeking aid, bringing total “bread martyrs” to 1,859 and those injured to over 13,594, it added.
