Amman, Aug. 13 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) rose 0.06 percent on Wednesday with 5.9 million shares changing hands through 4,144 transactions.
The general index sealed the day at 2,973 points in a turnover of JD7.7 million.
Of the 99 companies on the index, 36 rose, 31 declined, and the rest remained unchanged.
By sector, the services index dropped by 0.43 percent, the financial index rose by 0.27 percent and the industrial index edged up by 0.11 percent.
