Amman, Aug. 13 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday welcomed Commander of the Colorado National Guard Maj. Gen. Laura Clellan and an accompanying delegation.
During a meeting at the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF) General Command, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint military cooperation in the training field and the exchange of expertise, as well as coordinating mutual logistical support.
Huneiti and Clellan called for maintaining current cooperation programs, including joint military exercises and training, to enhance mutual “efficiency and readiness” capacities to contribute to regional and global security and stability.
Senior JAF officers and the US defense attaché in Amman attended the meeting.
