IACC Holds Workshops on Digital Tools, Whistleblower Protection

Amman, Aug 13 (Petra) – The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC) organized a training workshop on “The Role of Digitalization, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence in Combating Corruption,” attended by 19 employees of the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO).

According to a statement issued by the commission on Wednesday, the workshop covered the role of cybersecurity and digitalization in anti-corruption efforts, the impact of digital integrity on sustaining the investment environment, and ensuring a transparent and honest digital framework.

The commission also held a training session on “Protection of Witnesses, Whistleblowers, Informants and Experts in Corruption Cases,” attended by 18 employees of NEPCO. Participants were briefed on the commission’s role in protecting witnesses and whistleblowers, the rights and duties of those receiving protection, and the legal and procedural requirements for obtaining it.
