Amman, Aug. 14 (Petra) — Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand has expressed her country’s appreciation for Jordan’s continued support in facilitating the delivery of Canadian humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
Anand noted that nine tons of aid were delivered on Thursday, underscoring Canada’s commitment to ensuring that essential assistance reaches Palestinians in urgent need.
In a post on the X platform, she stated that Canadian aid continues to enter Gaza, adding that “Canada is doing everything it can to ensure that essential aid reaches Palestinians who are in dire need.”
The Canadian minister also reiterated her country’s call on the Israeli government to fully open land access to allow aid to flow into Gaza without obstruction.
