Amman, Aug. 14 (Petra) – Minister of Government Communication and official spokesperson Mohammed Momani on Thursday condemned recent statements and actions by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, describing them as “political recklessness” that reflects complete regional isolation and deep-seated internal crises facing him and his extremist government.
Speaking on the “Sawt Hayat” program on Hayat FM radio, Momani said Netanyahu “does not grasp the gravity of his words” and continues to fuel both regional and international hostility, undermining any prospect for a stable regional climate.
He stressed that the “delusions of so-called Greater Israel” will inevitably be shattered by the steadfastness of Jordanians, the sovereignty of Arab states, and the broad popular stance across the Arab world against such ideas.
Momani said Netanyahu’s remarks are a clear indication of his political troubles and his deteriorating standing among his own far-right base. He affirmed that “Israel’s policies under Netanyahu will come to an end, justice will prevail, and Palestinians will achieve their state and their right to self-determination.”
“As long as there is a single Palestinian child on this earth demanding their rights, victory will come,” he added, noting that history has repeatedly shown that justice ultimately triumphs despite wars and conflicts.
