Amman, August 17 (Petra) – Ministry of Education has completed its preparations to begin the new academic year 2025/2026 next Sunday, its Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Sahar Shakhatreh, announced.
Touring the school textbook warehouses in Amman’s Muqablin area and Hashemi Al Shamali School on Sunday, she said teaching staff have started their duties in the Kingdom’s ministry-affiliated schools nationwide.
Shakhatreh noted procedures for receiving students were completed, mainly book supply, classroom distribution and teaching staff recruitement in all public schools.
The ministry, she stated, is continuing efforts to maintain and manufacture school desks, praising role of schools and vocational workshops that have exerted “remarkable” efforts for this purpose to meet school needs.
To ensure a smooth school year, she urged the ministry’s central departments to enhance contact with the Kingdom’s education sector and “continuously” monitor preparations, which would overcome challenges and increase positive outcomes to provide the appropraite learning environment.
