Amman, Aug 18 (Petra) – The Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/7 Monday continued medical services to the wounded and sick people in the south of the Strip.
Since its mission began on July 17, medical staff at the field hospital have treated 22,961 patients and performed 462 major and minor surgeries, including wounds and burns, shrapnel removal, neurosurgery, complex fractures, maxillofacial and plastic surgery, and vascular and arterial surgery.
It continued to carry out its role amid the difficult circumstances facing the Gaza Strip with severe shortages of medical supplies in hospitals.
The field hospital has treated 374,449 patients since its deployment on November 20, 2023.
