Amman, Aug 18 (Petra) – The Kingdom will see relatively moderate summer conditions this week, with temperatures hovering at or slightly below seasonal averages, the national weather service said.
In Amman, highs will reach around 32 C in the east and 30 C in the west a few degrees below typical August peaks. The Badia will climb to 37 C, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba will top out near 40 C, still milder than the extreme weather seen last week, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The outlook through Friday calls for largely stable weather: dry and sunny across most regions, with occasional low clouds and northwesterly winds that may freshen at times.
