Irbid, Aug. 20 (Petra) – The Chairperson of the Irbid Chamber of Industry (ICI), Hani Abu Hassan, met on Wednesday with the Chairperson of the Jordanian-American Business Council (JABC), Tariq Hassan, to explore mechanisms for enhancing industrial cooperation.
The discussions centered on creating new avenues for industrial growth and streamlining the entry of Jordanian products into the American market.
Abu Hassan and Hassan underscored the importance of organizing direct business-to-business (B2B) meetings to foster connections between entrepreneurs from both nations.
Abu Hassan highlighted the ICI’s efforts to support industrialists and diversify export markets, emphasizing the significant potential the United States market holds for Jordanian goods. He also noted that formalizing a memorandum of understanding would accelerate exports and bolster Jordan’s economy.
Hassan said the Council is working to remove barriers facing Jordanian products in the United States, while also fostering direct communication channels between business communities. He concluded by pledging ongoing support to boost the visibility and competitiveness of Jordanian industries in the United States market.
