
Amman, Aug 20 (Petra) — The Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF) on Wednesday implemented an airdrop operation to deliver aid to Gaza, with the participation of Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft, alongside airplanes from Germany, the United Arab Emirates, France, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Indonesia.
Nearly 62 tonnes of food and relief aid were delivered to Gaza.
This raises to 159 the number of airdrops conducted by the JAF since 27 July, while total airdrops conducted with international partners reached 378.
A total of 781 tonnes of humanitarian aid has been airdropped by Jordan’s air force since then.
