Amman, Aug. 21 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading value of JD 5.5 million on Thursday, with 3 million shares traded through 2,607 contracts.
The general price index closed at 2,967 points, up by 0.15 percent compared with the previous session.
Out of 95 listed companies that traded today, 35 posted gains, while 30 saw declines, and the rest remained unchanged.
At the sector level, the financial index rose by 0.17 percent, the services index increased by 0.09 percent, and the industrial index gained 0.08 percent.
