Amman, Aug. 25 (Petra)– Temperatures are forecast to dip slightly on Monday, settling around the seasonal average for this time of year. The weather will be generally moderate across most regions, while remaining hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Low-altitude clouds are expected to appear, accompanied by northwesterly moderate winds that may pick up at times.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, similar weather conditions are likely to persist through Thursday, with normal summer weather across most parts of the Kingdom and hot conditions prevailing in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will continue to be northwesterly moderate, occasionally becoming active.
Today’s highs and lows are expected as follows: Eastern Amman, 33C/21C; Western Amman, 31C/19C; Northern Highlands, 28C/18C; Sharah Highlands, 29C/15C; Badia, 38C/20C; Plains, 33C/19C; Dead Sea, 41C/25C; and Aqaba, 41C/26C.
