China’s Manufacturing PMI Rises Slightly in AugustBeijing, 31 Aug (ONA) — China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported today that the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for the manufacturing sector in China recorded a slight increase of 0.1 percentage points, reaching 49.4 in August 2025 compared to July.
In contrast, the PMI for the non-manufacturing sector fell by 0.2 percentage points to 50.3 in August compared to the previous month.
