Social Development Ministry Honors Tawjihi Graduates from Care Homes, Students with Disabilities

Amman, Aug 31 (Petra) – The Ministry of Social Development on Sunday honored students from its care homes who passed the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) for the 2024–2025 academic year, along with several outstanding students from schools with visual, hearing, motor and cerebral palsy disabilities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Social Development Minister Wafaa Bani Mustafa congratulated the successful students, stressing that passing the Tawjihi exam a gateway to higher education reflects their perseverance, hard work and year-long dedication.

She said the ministry is proud of their achievements and remains committed to supporting and empowering them to continue their studies in pursuit of their ambitions, in line with Royal directives and the close attention given by Crown Prince Hussein to this important segment of society.

Bani Mustafa added that the ministry’s care homes work to provide all necessary facilities and support for beneficiary students, helping them overcome challenges to succeed, while commending the staff for their efforts in meeting students’ needs and enabling them to reach their goals.

The honored students expressed their joy at the ministry’s initiative and thanked its staff and all those who supported them, saying their success is shared with everyone who believed in their abilities and stood by them.
