Amman, Sept. 1 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded JD8.6 million in total trading volume on Monday, with 4.9 million shares changing hands through 3,824 contracts.
The ASE general index closed at 2,976 points, marking a slight increase of 0.06 percent.
On the sector level, the industry index rose 0.73 percent, while the services and financial sectors declined by 0.14 percent and 0.10 percent, respectively.
Out of 95 listed companies, 36 saw their share prices rise, 30 declined, and 29 remained unchanged.
