1 Sep (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index today closed at 5,102.18
points, gaining 72.3 points, or 1.44%, compared to the last trading session’s
close of 5,029.89 points.
The
trading value reached RO 51,799,728, increasing by 342.3% compared to the last
session’s value of RO 11,710,774.
MSX
report indicated that the market value went up by 0.811% from the last trading
day, reaching approximately RO 30.06 billion.
The
value of shares purchased by non-Omani investors reached RO 4,561,000,
constituting 8.80% of the total, while the value of their sales amounted to RO 5,106,000,
or 9.86%. Consequently, the net investment by non-Omanis decreased by RO 545,000,
or 1.05%.
