Amman, Sep. 2 (Petra) – Interior Minister Mazen Faraya on Tuesday received Qatari Minister of State for Interior Affairs, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al Thani and several officials from the Qatari Ministry of Interior at Queen Alia International Airport.
According to an interior ministry statement, the visit comes within the framework of deepening joint relations, aimed to sign an action plan on security cooperation between the Qatari and Jordanian interior ministries.
The visit, which will last for several days, will also feature a series of activities and events for the Qatari minister and his accompanying delegation, which serve to strengthen the two ministries’ mutual relations and achieve the two countries’ common interests.
