Irbid, Sept 3 (Petra) – A citizen has donated a 5.34-dunam plot of land for three years to be used as parking space for visitors to the new Princess Basma Teaching Hospital, Irbid Municipal Committee head Imad Al-Azzam said on Wednesday.
Al-Azzam told Petra that the committee approved the donation and signed an agreement with the landowner. Under the deal, the municipality will complete and prepare the site, while the donor will fence the land and plant trees to provide shade for cars and improve its appearance.
He added that the municipality has leveled nearby land to expand parking around the new hospital and has also prepared another site in front of the facility to accommodate about 50 cars.
