8 Sep (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index today closed at 5,078.18
points, dropping 46.6 points, or 0.91%, compared to the last trading session’s
close of 5,124.80 points.
The
trading value reached RO 21,660,598, increasing by 26.3% compared to the last
session’s value of RO 17,152,489.
MSX
report indicated that the market value went down by 0.450% from the last
trading day, reaching approximately RO 29.93 billion.
The
value of shares purchased by non-Omani investors reached RO 2,992,000,
constituting 13.82% of the total, while the value of their sales amounted to RO
3,318,000, or 15.32%. Consequently, the net investment by non-Omanis decreased
by RO 326,000, or 1.50%.
