Amman, Sept. 8 (Petra)– Some 3.3 million shares were traded through 3,169 transactions at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Monday in a JD7.4 million turnover.
The general share price index closed at 2,979 points, 0.2 percent up.
By sector, the industrial index rose by 0.46 percent, the financial index 0.22 percent, and the services index dropped by 0.16 percent.
Of the 100 companies on the index, 32 saw their shares rise and 38 dropped.
