New York, Sept 9 (Petra) – Major U.S. stock indexes rose Tuesday, while the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil remained steady at $62.68 per barrel after a slight increase.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 196 points, reaching 45,711 points. The tech-heavy Nasdaq index added 80 points, closing at 21,879 points. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 rose approximately 17 points to reach 6,512 points.
