Amman, Sept. 10 (Petra) — Jordan has strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression against the State of Qatar, with Prime Minister Jafar Hassan affirming in a phone call with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani that Amman rejects the attack in its entirety and stands in full solidarity with Doha.
Hassan described the aggression as “cowardly and treacherous,” stressing that it constitutes a flagrant violation of state sovereignty, a breach of international law, and a direct threat to regional security and stability.
The Prime Minister reiterated Jordan’s unwavering support for Qatar, underlining that “the security of Qatar is an integral part of the security of Jordan.” He emphasized that any violation of the sovereignty of an Arab state is categorically unacceptable and must be firmly condemned.
He further called for rallying international positions to confront Israel’s ongoing violations and blatant attacks on state sovereignty, warning of the dangerous repercussions of its persistent disregard for international law and international legitimacy.
