New York, Sept 10 (Petra) – The United Nations on Tuesday updated its program by marking as “postponed” a Security Council session that had been scheduled to discuss the Israeli assault on Qatar.
The meeting, requested by Algeria under the agenda item “The situation in the Middle East,” was initially set for Wednesday.
South Korea, which holds the council’s rotating presidency this month, noted that Qatar had requested the session be delayed until Thursday to allow its prime minister to attend.
