Labour Ministry Mulls Additional “Ejada”
Incentives for Outstanding Employees

Muscat, 11 Sep (ONA) — The
Ministry of Labour signed a cooperation agreement with Thawani company to study the mechanisms for implementing exclusive moral
incentives for members of the Ejada system. Thawani is a leading provider of
innovative digital solutions.

The agreement was signed on the
sidelines of the ongoing global technology exhibition, Comex 2025.

The step is in pursuance of a drive to
adopt advanced digital solutions that support the national economy, contribute
to improved quality of life for employees and enhance the institutional work
environment. It also highlights the Sultanate of Oman’s competitiveness in the transition
to digital economy.

The agreement was signed on behalf
of the Ministry of Labour by Sayyid Salim Musallam Al Busaidi, Undersecretary
of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development, and Eng. Majid al
Amri, CEO of Thawani.

More than 210,000 government
employees and their families will benefit from a wide range of exclusive offers
covering vital sectors and services.

Thawani will study the most
appropriate mechanism to provide a secure and easy-to-use digital environment,
supported by a real-time offer tracking system. This will enhance transparency
and improve the efficiency of service delivery.
