Amman, Sept. 12 (Petra)– Friday is predicted to have slightly above-normal temperatures, with most areas experiencing moderate temperatures and the plains and desert seeing comparatively scorching temperatures. Aqaba, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley will all have high temperatures along with moderate northwesterly winds.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) predicts that the plains and desert will experience comparatively scorching temperatures till Monday, while the mountainous regions will see moderate weather. With moderate northwesterly winds, hot weather is expected to persist in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
The highest and lowest temperatures in Amman today are 34–19 degrees Celsius in the east, 32–17 in the west, 30–17 in the highlands to the north, 29–16 in the Shara highlands, 37–19 in the Badia regions, 34–20 in the plains, 40–24 in the northern Jordan Valley, 38–29 in the southern Jordan Valley, 39–27 in the Dead Sea, and 40–27 in the Gulf of Aqaba.
