Amman, Sept. 12 (Petra)–For the fiscal years 2025, 2026, and 2027, the Electricity Distribution Company (EDCO) has chosen to donate 5% of its net income after taxes to the government’s social responsibility project, according to Hazem Al-Rahahleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
In a statement today, Al-Rahahleh clarified that the Board of Directors’ choice to distribute a percentage of the profits aligns with the business’s goal to support national priorities, give back to the community, and raise the standard of services offered to residents.
He emphasized that within the context of social responsibility, these funds will be used to assist particular initiatives and fields. This action is a continuation of the business’s endeavors to improve its contribution to the neighborhood and attain sustainable development in the regions under its concession.
Al-Rahahleh underlined that this choice supports the company’s purpose and strategy of offering its subscribers exceptional services and is consistent with the government’s social responsibility efforts.
