Amman, Sept 14 (Petra) – The Southern Military Region officers on Sunday foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotics using a drone on its western front, within its area of responsibility.
In coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, border guards applied the rules of engagement after detecting the drone and brought it down inside Jordanian territory. The seized contraband was handed over to the competent authorities.
