Amman, Sep. 16 (Petra) – Trading at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday amounted to JD13.9 million, with 5.5 million shares changing hands through 4,528 transactions.
The general index closed stronger at 3,072 points, posting a gain of 0.85 percent.
The services index led the pack with a 1.55 percent rise, followed by the industrial sector at 0.51 percent, and the financial sector at 0.50 percent.
In the day’s performance, 36 companies finished in the green, 24 in the red, while 37 remained unchanged.
