Amman, Sep. 16 (Petra) – Chairman of Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Committee, Dr. Yousef Shawarbeh, on Tuesday discussed with Australian Ambassador to Jordan, Bernard Lynch, ways to enhance joint cooperation and work between the GAM and the Sydney municipalities.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the GAM’s plans and projects to improve level of current services provided to citizens.
Shawarbeh praised the Jordanian-Australian relations, based on ongoing cooperation, stressing the GAM’s “keenness” to strengthen bilateral relations and support areas of joint action to serve common interests.
In turn, Lynch commended level of Amman’s development in the municipal, urban, and cultural fields, commending the GAM’s efforts and projects in developing infrastructure and improving the level of services provided to the capital and its citizens.
