Amman, Sept 16 (Petra) – The Muslim World League (MWL) warned Tuesday of the catastrophic repercussions of the extensive and violent military operations launched by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza, which have intensified killings, destruction, and forced displacement.
In a statement issued by the League’s secretariat, Secretary-General Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to assume its ethical and legal responsibilities. He urged immediate and serious action to protect civilians in Gaza from the ongoing military aggression, stressing that the Israeli government has flagrantly disregarded all international laws and norms, showing contempt for the lives and rights of the Palestinian people.
