Amman, Sep. 18 (Petra) – The Jordanian national football team rose to 62nd globally in the latest FIFA world rankings released Thursday, advancing two places from last month’s 64th position.
The team’s improved ranking follows a 0-0 draw with Russia in a friendly match and a 3-0 victory over the Dominican Republic, also in a friendly, contributing to its upward movement.
Spain topped the world rankings, followed by France, Argentina, England, Portugal, and Brazil.
The Jordanian national team has strengthened its international profile through a series of notable results, including its historic qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
