Amman, Sept. 24 (Petra) – Jordanian field hospital Nablus/8 staff began receiving patients on Wednesday providing medical and treatment services in support of the health sector in Nablus Governorate of the occupied West Bank.
The facility is admitting patients, part of its humanitarian and medical mission, and that staff are devoting all available resources to deliver quality healthcare to residents in Nablus and nearby areas, said its commander.
In the last three days, the hospital treated 2,334 patients, including minor surgeries, chronic diseases, laboratory tests, and emergency internal medicine, through specialized clinics to ensure efficient service.
The hospital houses clinics in pediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), dentistry, and general medicine, as well as major and minor operating rooms, intensive care, radiology, and sterilization units, and a pharmacy, staffed by qualified doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
Residents expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting the Palestinian people, stressing that these efforts reflect the deep fraternal ties between the two nations.
