Minister Exchanges Views with Counterparts on Regional, International Issues

York, 25 Sep (ONA) — Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister today
met, separately, with Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councillor and Head of the
Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Mohamed Mbae,
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Union of the
Comoros, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation
and Mauritanians Abroad of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Osman
Saleh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Eritrea and Battsetseg
Batmunkh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
These
meetings took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations
General Assembly in New York.
During
the meetings, the Foreign Minister reviewed the march of bilateral relations
and cooperation with their respective countries.
The
meetings discussed ways to develop these relations in the economic, investment,
educational, cultural, and scientific fields. They also exchanged views on
regional and international issues and underscored the importance of enhancing
consultation and coordination in multilateral forums.
The
aim of this cooperation is to contribute to supporting security, stability, and
peace, and serving mutual interests.
A
number of officials attended the meetings.
