
Amman, Sept. 26 (Petra)– Most places will see moderate autumnal weather on Friday, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will see rather scorching temperatures. Clouds will also be seen at different elevations. Early in the morning, there is a remote possibility of light rain showers in the Kingdom’s far north. There will be moderate-speed, northwesterly winds that are occasionally strong.
The Jordan Meteorological Department predicts that Saturday will see a little increase in temperature. Most places will experience moderate autumnal weather, but the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience comparatively scorching temperatures. In the eastern region of the Kingdom, some clouds will be seen at medium elevations. There will be mild northwesterly winds.
The highest and lowest temperatures in Amman today are 28–19 degrees Celsius in the east, 26–17 in the west, 22–16 in the highlands in the north, 23–14 in the Shara highlands, 30–16 in the Badia regions, 27–19 in the plains, 34–23 in the northern Jordan Valley, 36–27 in the southern Jordan Valley, 33–23 in the Dead Sea, and 34–23 in the Gulf of Aqaba.
