Delegation Briefed on Oman’s Entrepreneurship Experience

Muscat,
30 Sep (ONA) — Halima Rashid Al Zari’ee, Chairperson of the Public Authority
for Small and Medium Enterprises Development “Riyada” today received Sami bin
Ibrahim Al Husaini, Governor of the Small and Medium Enterprises General
Authority (Monsha’at) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his accompanying
delegation at Riyada’s headquarters in Muscat.

The
meeting was held to strengthen bilateral relations and exchange expertise
between the two sides.

During
the meeting, the most notable successful experiences and practices in
supporting and empowering entrepreneurs were highlighted.

The
guests also learned about the programs and services provided to the SME sector
in both countries. This is intended to enhance cooperation and knowledge
exchange to achieve the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 and Saudi Vision 2030.

The
visiting delegation also toured several business centers, incubators, and
marketing outlets affiliated with Riyada in Muscat and Nizwa. They held direct
meetings with a number of Omani entrepreneurs and were briefed on successful
pioneering experiences across various sectors.

Both
sides affirmed the importance of continuing to exchange visits and intensifying
cooperation in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, and modern
technologies. This collaboration is aimed at strengthening Gulf efforts to
support youth and expanding the contribution of SMEs to economic development.
