Charity Clothing Bank Launches Mobile Showrooms in Karak, Aqaba

Amman, Sept. 30 (Petra) – The Charity Clothing Bank, a department of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), is continuing its humanitarian programs aimed at serving underprivileged and low-income families across the Kingdom.

In a statement on Tuesday, the bank said it will launch, in cooperation with the Union of Voluntary Societies in Karak and the Ma’moura Charitable Association, a mobile showroom in the Southern Jordan Valley’s Ma’moura district at the Ma’moura Municipality Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday. Clothes will be distributed to needy families and beneficiaries of the National Aid Fund, with more than 400 families expected to benefit.

The bank is also preparing to open another mobile showroom in Aqaba at Al-Khaleej Club on Wednesday and Thursday, in cooperation with the Leave a Mark initiative and the Red Crescent Society/Aqaba branch. The event will serve needy families in the area, National Aid Fund beneficiaries, and orphan families, with more than 400 households expected to benefit.

The Charity Clothing Bank stressed that these activities are part of its humanitarian mission to strengthen social solidarity and reach the largest number of beneficiaries possible across different regions. It noted that such efforts would not have been possible without the cooperation of partners, supporters, and donations from individuals and institutions, which bring warmth and joy to the hearts of families in need.

The initiative comes as part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to support local communities through its permanent programs in Amman and Karak, as well as its mobile showrooms across various governorates.
